The AhamBharat Awards are a recognition platform designed to acknowledge individuals, organisations and institutions whose contributions demonstrate meaningful achievement, excellence or impact.
Individuals, organisations and institutions may be considered for nomination, subject to the eligibility requirements applicable to the relevant award category and edition.
Yes. A nomination may be submitted on behalf of another individual, organisation or institution, subject to the applicable nomination requirements.
Self-nomination may be permitted for applicable categories. Please refer to the current nomination guidelines for the relevant award edition.
The nomination process may request information about the nominee, their achievements or contribution, supporting documentation and other details relevant to the selected category.
Eligible nominations may proceed through verification and review according to the applicable recognition criteria and selection process for the relevant category and edition.
Recipient selection is conducted through the applicable AhamBharat review and selection process. Details may vary according to the award category and edition.

Recognition Begins With a Nomination
Know an individual, organisation or institution whose contribution deserves to be recognised? Put forward their story for consideration through the AhamBharat nomination process.
Who can be nominated?
Individuals, organisations and institutions whose contribution has created meaningful and lasting impact across Bharat. Each award category describes its own eligibility on its category page.
Can I nominate myself?
Self-nominations are accepted when the nomination cycle allows them. The nomination form will show the option if it is available.
Is there a fee to nominate?
Please refer to the Nominate page for the terms of the current cycle.
How are honourees selected?
Every nomination passes through four stages: nomination, verification of credibility and eligibility, evaluation by a qualified selection process against the category criteria, and recognition at the AhamBharat Awards ceremony.
How can I check the progress of a nomination?
Use the reference number from your confirmation email on the Nomination Status page, together with the email address you used to nominate.
How can someone confirm that an award is genuine?
Each AhamBharat honour has a unique certificate ID. Enter it on the Verify Award page to see the honouree, award and year.
How do I attend the ceremony?
Ceremony details and registration appear on the Ceremony and Events pages as soon as the schedule is confirmed.
